A member of the Olympic Dream Team, Larry Bird led Boston to three championships before he retired in 1992. Bird, who played college basketball at Indiana State, is depicted in this 1996 Hallmark ornament, the second in the Hoop Stars series, that also has a Classic Trading card enclosed.
The ornament originally sold for $14.95.
